2.        The tr. discusses the exercise given in the previous lesson.

4K1: The ss answered 80% of the questions given correctly.
4K4: The tr had to explain one by one for the questions given in

Effective Text for MUET, Ilmu Bakti.
Reflection
Half of the students have improved especially in using the expressions learnt accordingly. However, they still need to practice more on identifying the subject matter of the task given so that they can give suitable response.

3.      The copy the notes given by the teacher on the structure of the essay and ways to write an introduction.
4.      The voluntary ss read aloud the introcutory paragraph.
5.      Homework: write at least three main ideas/ events based on the topic given.

Reflections
4K1: The ss were able to write interesting introduction.
4K7:The ss did not manage to start the introduction by themselves except for the only 5%. So, they copied the sample of introduction written by the teacher to help them generate ideas.
4K4: The ss’ performance was average. They were confused with the topic.

In general, most of the ss in  all these three classes have misinterpreted the vocabulary i.e. memories. They only focused on one event instead of  more than one when writing the essay.

The ss had the difficulty to explain the terms. They did not sure with some of it. Directly, they failed to generate concrete ideas for some of the points discussed. They are allowed to complete this exercise at home by looking for more reference or resources.
