1.      The teacher introduces the title of the story.
2.      Discuss the symbolic meaning of the title by answering the question given.
3.      The teacher shows and discusses the pictures in the story.
4.    The students guess who are the characters.
5.    The students guess the plot of the story.
6.    The students complete the exercise.
7.    Discussion and corrections.

The students had the difficulty to find out the main ideas in the article read due to its style of writing which has no topic sentences for most of the paragraphs.

There was only one student who was unable to form questions clearly. The rest had successfully expressed the requirements of the questions in spite of the grammatical errors made.
