Reflection	The students were shocked with their performance of the exercise. They are asked to submit the correction in the sense to follow up their level of understanding after the discussion.

Activities	1.      The teacher introduces each part of plot of the story. 2.      The students read aloud the terms after the teacher. 3.      Discussion on plot and synopsis.  4.      The students copy the notes on synopsis and plot. 5.      The students copy the questions on characters and characteristics. 6.      Completing the questions. 7.      Discuss the answers. 8.      Pairwork: Draw the picture of the selected character based on his/her physical description and characteristics.

Reflection	All of the students have improved a lot except for one who had combined many points in compound sentences. They are minded to avoid this way in presenting one’s points in order to make points clear and score marks.

Reflection	Overall, the students in both classes found that it was hard to find the main ideas eventhough they knew the techniques. Drilling is needed for the objectives mentioned above.

Homework: Write an expository essay with the above topic     for the selected main idea in paragraph.

Reflection	The students were often lack of concrete examples and reasons to support the main ideas. They needed to read more about the topic.
