  2. Understand the phrases underlined in the poem read by drawing its images.  
Activities
1. The teacher briefs the students about the contents of Form Four literature lessons.
2. The teacher discusses the topic of the poem.
3. The ss read the poem after the tr.
4. The ss underline the important phrases in the poem as told by the
     tr.
5. Discussion on the meaning of the phrases underlined.
6.  Homework: Draw the mental pictures of the phrases underlined.

Reflection
The students responded accordingly to the questions asked. However, they hardly felt the hardship portrayed between the lines. They had the difficulties to draw the images of the phrases underlined too. More discussions on figurative meanings will be included in the next lesson.

3.         conclude the topic discussed by giving three main factors and three main ways to overcome this social issue.

a.       The teacher briefs the ss about the group performance before they start
the forum presentation.
b. The ss perform the forum within a time frame of 30 minutes.
c. The discussion session on ss’ performance.
d. The teacher facilitates the ss to get the main factors and ways to
    overcome online dating scams through group discussion.
e. The ss copy the notes written on the whiteboard.

Aids
The article used in the previous lesson ( How to avoid online dating scams?), A4 paper, whiteboard, whiteboard markers.
Reflection
The ss participated actively in the forum. They were able to represent the role assigned accordingly. Half of the ss needed to improve on their tone during the communication especially on politeness aspect.  The use of language and grammar should be polished as well so that the meaning expressed was clear.

4K1: Satisfactory feedback. They were able to give sufficient examples of adjectives. However, they needed the facilitation of the tr to help them generate ideas and examples in writing the essay.

4K7: The ss responded accordingly by referring to the reference book provided. There were only around 30% of the ss were able to start their introductory paragraph after listening to the examples given by the tr. The rest needed more attention and guidance in order to follow the lesson.

4K4: The ss could give correct examples of adjectives. They needed more ideas and examples to help them write the introduction.

The ss managed to understand the use of OP in writing an essay. They learnt how to write a thesis statement according to the OP chosen.

Reflection
The ss understood the differences between general statement and thesis statement by writing the introduction clearly. Two of them were still confused with thesis statement because they failed to express the complete focus of the topic. Topic sentences given were satisfactory but with grammartical mistakes.

There were around 60% of the ss able to form the dialogues without much help from the tr. On the contrary, the rest needed the teacher’s facilitation in order to do the exercise.
